B.S. Computer and Electrical Engineering • May 2015
Recieved a dual degree in computer and electrical engineering. Completed course work in a variety of discplines from computer architecture to embedded systems design. Graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors.
Software Developer• October 2014 - Present
Developed full stack web applications using a Go backend, Sencha ExtJs frontend, and Cassandra database. Took unique customer needs and developed an elegant technical solution to meet given requirements in minimal time. Used a variety of tools such as jenkins, rpms, git, unit tests, balsamiq mockups to deploy an efficient and reliable product.
Software Developer Intern• Feburary 2014 - October 2014
Integrated SAS with a variety of Hadoop technologies such as: HDFS, Map/Reduce, OOZIE, and PIG. Interfaced with 5 different Hadoop vendors using a RESTful approach. Maintained and developed the SAS portable supervisor that provides operating system type services to other SAS applications. Developed code in a UNIX environment using a version control system.
Technology Support Analyst• Feburary 2014 - October 2014
Provided systems administration, strategic technology guidance, and daily technical support to the University Recreation and Physical Education departments. Managed Active Directory/Group Policy, and developed scripts in order to meet department needs. Supported 100 Desktop PCs, 25 Laptop/Tablets, 27 Professional Staff, 375 Student Staff, and 40 FaIculty.
